This class provides honest, down to earth information usually shared by your best friend. The class will be a time to discuss strategies and tips to make childbirth and parenting easier on you and your baby. Research shows that being prepared for birth and connecting with other new mothers helps women to adjust to parenthood and reduces baby blues. Even better, these classes are fun and informative evenings out and a great way to connect with other pregnant women.

This beginner’s yoga class is appropriate for women in all stages of pregnancy, those new to yoga, and experienced students wanting to get back into practice. Many women have found that the gentle stretches, movements and poses of yoga help maintain and enhance strength, muscle tone and agility while reducing pelvic, back and other discomforts that life brings. Prior yoga experience is not required.

Many parents worry about the effect a new baby will or can have on their existing children. A little bit of preparation can help smooth new arrival. Class will prepare you and your child(ren) for the birth of a new baby and the changes in your family's day-to-day routines. Children are asked to bring a stuffed animal or doll/buddy with them.
Topics Include:
- Learning about gentle touch with the new baby
- What babies can and cannot do
- What to expect when they visit mom in the hospital
- Why big brothers and big sisters are very special!

This course can be taken before or after the baby Is born.

The Happiest Baby course provides new parents a step-by-step approach to help infants sleep longer and soothe even the fussiest baby in just minutes. Developed by Harvey Karp, M.D., a pediatrician and child development specialist.
Topics Include:
- Discussion about the "fourth trimester"
- The Calming Reflex: The virtual off-switch to crying that all babies are born with.
- The Five S’s: The five simple techniques that activate the calming reflex: swaddling, side/stomach positioning, shushing, swinging and sucking.
