Happiest Baby on the Block

This course can be taken before or after the baby is born.
The Happiest Baby course provides new parents a step-by-step approach to help infants sleep longer and soothe even the fussiest baby in just minutes. Developed by Harvey Karp, M.D., a pediatrician and child development specialist.
Topics Include:
- Discussion about the "fourth" trimester
- The Calming Reflex: The virtual off-switch to crying that all babies are born with.
- The Five S’s: The five simple techniques that activate the calming reflex: swaddling, side/stomach positioning, shushing, swinging and sucking.
Facilitator: Dawn Blackburn, RN
1 ½ hour monthly seminars 3rd Tuesday of each month

Cost: $39
