At My Urban Toddler we offer a childbirth preparation series that is both INFORMATIVE and MEANINGFUL.

Our classes are INSPIRING, INTERACTIVE and DYNAMIC, INFORMAL and FUN, and loaded with USEFUL INFORMATION, tips and strategies.

Each Childbirth series is specifically designed to meet the interests, needs and questions of our participants. Particular emphasis is placed on

Understanding the physical and psychological process of birth

What to expect from your birth setting

Information gathering

Decision-making and informed consent

Confidence building and pain coping

Communication, connection and support during your birth and beyond

The early postpartum experience

Parenting a newborn

*This class is facilitated by a mom and clinical social worker with more than a decade of experience working with expectant and parenting families
