"Childbirth classes inspired by Birthing from Within"

At My Urban Toddler we offer a childbirth preparation series that is both INFORMATIVE and MEANINGFUL.

Our classes are INSPIRING, INTERACTIVE and DYNAMIC, INFORMAL and FUN, and loaded with USEFUL INFORMATION, tips and strategies.

Each Childbirth series is specifically designed to meet the interests, needs and questions of our participants. Particular emphasis is placed on

• Understanding the physical and psychological process of birth

• What to expect from your birth setting

• Information gathering

• Decision-making and informed consent

• Confidence building and pain coping

• Communication, connection and support during your birth and beyond

• The early postpartum experience

• Parenting a newborn

  Childbirth classes at My Urban Toddler are inspired by BIRTHING FROM WITHIN, an internationally recognized philosophy of childbirth preparation.

  We recommend that you follow this class with our MOTHERS OF NEWBORNS class for informal support, connection with other new moms and lots of helpful information! Discounts are available when registering for more than one class.
