Learn the way individualization, the sense of order, routines, independence, language, sleep, nutrition, and overstimulation affect children’s behavior.
Capitalize on your child’s quest for independence.
Create an environment that incorporates a young child’s strengths, learn positive discipline techniques that last a life time, and learn to set limits.
Facilitator: Nanette Glencer, M.S, Ed.
Nanette is a parent educator, coach, and consultant, and an early childhood educator holding a Master’s degree in education. She is a certified Montessori teacher for ages 3-12 with over twenty years experience in the classroom, and she is the first Montessori teacher to become a National Board Certified Teacher/Early Childhood Generalist. She was recognized by the State of Michigan as Outstanding Educator of the Year. She became interested in early childhood education and development as a parent, and her interest is currently fueled by her two young granddaughters. Nanette has spoken at national, state, and local conferences, and she is a frequent guest lecturer at local universities.
