Do you ever wish that there was somewhere you could go, everyday and any day, on your schedule, with your child(ren) that was completely age appropriate, but not totally gross and cartoony? Just six months after bringing her new daughter, Lauren, into the world, Rosa Lee realized that this place didn't really exist. After much planning, the idea for My Urban Toddler was born!! She wanted to create something more for her infant and herself. She wanted a safe environment for smaller children and a hot spot for parents of infants and toddlers. She wanted a hip parent-child hangout!! What she has created is that and so much more.

Through the eyes of a mother, My Urban Toddler is the solution when your child is too young or too small to play at the typical play space locations. It is both a mingling place for parents and an imagination-driven destination for toddlers. Infants and toddlers age 0 through 5 will be able to safely explore activities using fine and gross motor skills throughout the custom designed play areas. Ms. Lee, an architect, has created a miniature city for children to experience. Included in the city are a Firehouse, Grocery Store and Repair Shop for role-playing, a Fine Arts School for crafts and musical instrument discovery, a Theater for dress-up and story time, and an age-appropriate Library.

Among the many features, guests will find a private nursing room for mothers and wireless Internet access in the cafe. These are just some of the conveniences offered to our parents.

Exclusive to Urban Toddler is a “Theater” room and Special Events room for ideal locations to host private parties such as birthday parties, baby showers, etc. Visit our Party page for more information including available party packages and times.

Complementing the custom designed play areas plays Urban Toddler features the first ever retail boutique within a child play space. Packed with unique items such as designer diaper bags, strollers and carseats, nursing supplies, and educational books and toys, you will be able to shop while your child plays safely within My Urban Toddler city limits!! All products have been researched, mom tested and approved for your convenience.

(Just 2 years later, Jessica was born and joined Lauren to play at My Urban Toddler! And on December 20, 2009 Allison arrives in time to celebrate Christmas with her sisters!)
