Play

Starting March 1st, open play, or "drop-in" play will be available Monday and Tuesday from 9:00-5:00pm only. Wednesday - Friday will be reserved for classes and private group events. More information including classes, dates, times and prices will be available in the upcoming weeks.

Explore one of Michigan's most creative indoor play spaces!  We have designed a miniature city for you to experience with your friends and children ages 0-5! All imagination driven play including dress up and age appropriate toys and books. Enjoy playing with them or relax while they explore with new friends.

Our play space is unlike any other. Children can explore the different “destinations” all on ground level.  Crawlers, new walkers and toddlers will love to go from the Firehouse to the Market and then to the Library and more!

Infants

Featured in the heart of My Urban Toddler City is Infant Park. Parents with infants can feel secure knowing that the littlest ones are safe within the park. Soft toys and mats cushion the park atmosphere while also allowing fine and gross motor skill development.

Toddlers

Head“downtown” where a beautiful aquarium marks your arrival into My Urban Toddler City. Here your child can view the whole city and choose their first destination. Start by pushing a wooden toy car around town with visits to the Fine Arts room for crafts and Theater for dress-up, puppet shows, story-time, and so much more. For quiet time, visit the Library filled with age appropriate books, puzzles, and creative toys. Little ones with an adventurous streak will want to stop in at the “Firehouse” to dress up as a fireman and hop onto the wooden fire truck.

What about the kids that are older than 5?

Our unique environment is geared toward expecting parents or parents with small children ages 0-5. In consideration of those older siblings that would like to come, we say, WELCOME!

Special note to parents: We require everyone to take off their shoes and wear socks in play areas.  We are known for our dedication to a very clean and safe place for you to play.  Toys and furniture are not only cleaned in the evening at close but all during the day.  Toys to clean bins are located conveniently throughout the space.

Socks are required for all parents, caregivers and children. Hand sanitizers are also placed upon entrance, throughout the facility and exit for your use. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe, healthy and happy.

Also, we ask you not to bring in outside food in consideration of those children with nut allergies.
