CHOOSE YOUR SEAT WISELY:

Each seat has specific weight and height limitations – ensure that as your child grows, the seat is adjusted properly and replaced as needed. Accepting a hand-me-down seat is not the same as big sister’s clothing. Check the manufacturing date located on the car seat. Seats that are more than 5 years old are not considered safe. Never use a car seat that has been in a car accident or shows signs of extreme use. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children stay rear-facing until they turn 2 years old or they outgrow the rear-facing capabilities of their child restraint.
